Concept:

Pizza is Italian, and that’s beyond question: every time someone says otherwise, it feels like a dagger to the heart of any Italian.

However, this doesn’t mean that only Italians can make the most delicious pizzas!

In my illustration, for example, I imagined a pizzeria set in the times of Ancient Egypt—a somewhat whimsical composition that celebrates how a good pizza can win over anyone, no matter who makes it.
