La mia illustrazione è stata selezionata come copertina del progetto “Open Art” di Open Arms Italia.

Il tema del progetto era la narrazione intorno al fenomeno dell’immigrazione.

Il titolo della mia opera è “La scia”.
Un’immagine che vuole  riflettere il tragico viaggio dei migranti e ciò che lasciano dietro di sé nel tentativo di raggiungere un futuro migliore. Questa scia, simile alla schiuma del mare, spesso si perde nell’oblio, diventando invisibile agli occhi di molti. Troppo spesso ci concentriamo solo su chi arriva a destinazione, senza fermarci a riflettere sul peso e sul dolore di ciò che coloro che attraversano il mare affrontano e lasciano dietro di sé.


L’immagine è stata scelta anche per le tessere Open Arms 2024 e altro materiale promozionale.

This illustration has been selected as the cover for the “Open Art” project by Open Arms Italy.

The project’s theme was storytelling around the phenomenon of immigration.

The title of my work is “The Wake of the ship“.
An image that aims to reflect the tragic journey of migrants and what they leave behind in their attempt to reach a better future. This wake, akin to the foam of the sea, often fades into oblivion, becoming invisible to many eyes. Too often we focus only on those who reach their destination, without pausing to reflect on the weight and pain of what those who cross the sea face and leave behind.

The image has also been chosen for the Open Arms 2024 membership cards and other promotional material.
